Standards and Certification
It complies with the specifications required by UNE 104-231 (type EA).
Scope
Recommended use: Use condition: It must be clean of dust, grease, paint residues, plaster and foreign bodies. Substrate preparation: Loose particles , or poorly adhered will be removed, so it is recommended to clean the surface to be primed. If necessary, the surface will be regularized with a mortar that will be properly floated. Type of support: CURIDAN should not be applied on polished surfaces as adhesion failures may occur. Substrate humidity: CURIDAN can be applied on dry or slightly humid surfaces, but without water runoff. Drying time: It depends on the ambient temperature, insolation and relative humidity. Check that the primer is dry to the touch. Application tools: Can be applied by spray, brush, brush or roller. Minimum application temperature: CURIDAN no It must be installed when the temperature is below + 5ºC. - Priming and preparation of porous surfaces where later a bituminous sheet will be welded. It can be used undiluted or diluted with water (10-20%), up to the desired concentration. - On the support, apply a layer of CURIDAN, trying to impregnate the pores well. The approximate yield will be 0.2-0.5 Kg / m². In the case of bridges and parking decks, the performance will be 0.2 Kg / m². In bonded systems, the bituminous sheet is welded in its entirety, so the entire surface must be primed. In non-adhered or floating systems, the bituminous sheet is only welded at singular points (petos, sinks, expansion joints, etc ...), these elements having to be primed.

Advantages and Benefits
CURIDAN is a water-based bituminous which hardens by evaporation of the water contained. Once applied and dry, forms a continuous film that presents the following advantages that provide specific benefits to the system:
ADVANTAGES -Easy application. -Hardening due to breakage of the emulsion due to the evaporation of water from the continuous phase. -Durable. -Free of solvents. -Fluid consistency product.
BENEFITS -It can be with gun, brush or roller, adapting to different surfaces, with good yields. -Good adhesion many types f surfaces. -Completely stable and long-lasting. -It can be applied in closed rooms. -It allows to be applied with spray gun.
Instruction for use
Preparation of the support: The support status: it must be free of dust, grease, remains of paint and plaster. Preparation of the support: loose or poorly adherent particles will be removed, so it is recommended to clean the surface to be primed. If necessary, the surface will regularize with a mortar. Humidity of the support: CURIDAN can be applied on dry or damp surfaces, but without runoff. Drying time: Depends on environmental temperature, insolation and humidity. Check that the touch primer is dry. Application tools: apply by pistol, brush or roller. Minimum application temperature: CURIDAN should not be used when the temperature is less than + 5 ° C.
- Primer and preparation of porous surfaces where then will weld a bituminous sheet. Can be used without diluting or either diluted with water (10-20%), until the proper concentration. Once well dry the support, apply a layer of CURIDAN, seeking well permeate the pores. The approximate yield will be 0, 2-0, 5 Kg/m². In the case of bridges and parking decks, the performance will be 0.2 Kg/m².
Indications and Important Recommendations
Never use as roof waterproofing system. - Before using the product, remove properly until it is perfectly mixed. - The approximate yield will be 0, 2-0, 5 Kg/m². In the case of bridges and parking decks, the performance will be 0.2 Kg/m². - Waterproofing works do not perform when weather conditions may be harmful, particularly when it is snowing or there is snow or ice on the roof when it rains or the deck is wet, damp surface > 8% or when strong wind blows. - Not applies in time of rain, since it may cause emulsion washing, resulting in a product of low internal cohesion. -CURIDAN should not be used when the temperature is less than + 5 ° C. - All the material used should be cleaned with water once completed its management. When the CURIDAN is dry only can be removed with solvent.
Handling, Storage and Conservation
- This product is not toxic and non-flammable. - Will be stored in a dry place protected from rain, Sun, heat, and cold temperatures. Temperatures below 0 ° C can affect the quality of the product. With these conditions and their tightly closed source packaging, the product can remain stored approximately six months from the date of manufacture. - The product will be used in order of arrival to work. - In all cases, standards of safety and hygiene at work, as well as standards of good practice of the construction must be taken into account. - In case of sedimentary material, it must be removed to return to the initial state. - Danosa recommend consult the safety data sheet of this product which is permanently available at www.danosa.com, or you can request in writing to our technical department. -For any further clarification, please consult with our Technical Department. - Expires after six months
